This delightful property is situated near the charming area of Mudeford offering a variety of cafes and pubs and the market town of Christchurch. Mudeford Quay lies just a short stroll away offering the ever popular family pastime of 'crabbing' from the quayside. The Quay is known for its eighteenth century smuggling activities and battle with the Navy. Closeby is the famous "Run" where salmon are netted, and the sandy beaches of Avon Beach and Friars Cliff are popular with family holidaymakers. The Saxons knew Christchurch as Twynham - the place between the waters. The present name is taken from the great Norman priory church, which is the longest parish church in England, and is set amidst a jumble of little streets with quaint shops and restaurants. Alongside the Priory are ruins of the Norman castle. You may also try out ye olde stocks and even the ducking stool - the last one to be used in anger, and the Town Crier might tell you all about it. There are picturesque walks along Town Quay - the superbly restored 900 year old Place Mill is open to visitors, the very many swans and the river boat traffic add to the atmosphere here. Bournemouth is also short drive away as are the many local beaches of Mudeford, Southbourne and Bournemouth itself.

SHORT BREAKS: are preferred FRI to MON or MON to FRI (please note that Short Breaks are only accepted in the E Season as last minute bookings where they are booked within one week of the arrival date). If you require a Short Break starting on an alternative day please contact a member of the Bournecoast team on 01202 437888 to discuss your requirements.

WEEKLY LETS: can start on MONDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY outside of the E Season but should only start on SATURDAY within the E Season. Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by Resort 2 Us (delivered to the property in packs).
